About me

Qinzi Li is a picture book author and illustrator, a mother of two, an avid traveler, and a black belt in Taekwondo. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, she spent ten years working in the technology industry before setting off on a round-the-world journey with her husband. Inspired by her travels and family life, she taught herself illustration and began creating picture books. She has since published picture books in China and internationally.

In 2025, she graduated with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art in the UK. Her work has received international recognition through exhibitions and illustration awards.

Qinzi enjoys creating humorous and heartfelt picture books inspired by everyday life. Through her stories, she hopes to encourage children to explore the world with curiosity, kindness, and imagination. She lives in Cambridge, England, with her family, where she continues to write and illustrate picture books.
